اردشیر امیرارجمند، سخنگوی شورای هماهنگی راه سبز امید، در نامه‌ای به احمد شهید، گزارشگر ویژه حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد، به اعلام جدیدترین موارد نقض حقوق بشر در ایران پرداخته و خواستار پیگیری جدی آنها شده است.

او در این نامه به احضار فعالان سیاسی و مدنی از جمله امضاکنندگان نامه ۱۴۳ فعال سیاسی به خاتمی درباره انتخابات، بازداشت محمد توسلی، علی رشیدی و آریا آرام‌نژاد، جلوگیری از برگزاری آیین عید قربان توسط اهل سنت و موارد دیگر اشاره کرده است.

متن کامل این نامه که نسخه‌ای از آن در اختیار کلمه قرار گرفته، به همراه ترجمه عربی و انگلیسی آن به شرح زیر است:

جناب آقای احمد شهید، گزارشگر ویژه سازمان ملل در مورد وضع حقوق بشر ایران
با سلام و احترام

نقض حقوق اساسی شهروندان ایران، به‌ویژه معترضان سیاسی همچنان ادامه دارد. در جدیدترین موارد، در پی انتشار نامهای سرگشاده توسط ۱۴۳ فعال سیاسی و کنشگر مدنی خطاب به آقای سیدمحمد خاتمی، رییس جمهور پیشین ایران، در روزهای گذشته جمعی از امضاکنندگان این نامه توسط نهادهای امنیتی و اطلاعاتی جمهوری اسلامی احضار شده، مورد بازجویی خشن و تهدید قرار گرفته‌اند. از احضارشدگان خواسته شده که امضای خود را پس بگیرند، محتوای این نامه را تکذیب کنند، و از فعالیت سیاسی پرهیز نمایند. درحالی که امضاکنندگان این نامه، تنها خواستار برگزاری انتخابات آزاد، سالم و عادلانه شده، و وضع سیاسی کنونی را فاقد شرایط لازم برای چنین انتخاباتی ارزیابی کرده بودند.

یکی از امضاکنندگان، مهندس محمد توسلی، ۷۳ ساله، مسئول دفتر سیاسی نهضت آزادی ایران، و نخستین شهردار تهران پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی ۱۳۵۷ است. آقای توسلی در ۱۲ آبان ۱۳۹۰ به شکل غیرقانونی، و برای چندمین بار در سالهای اخیر بازداشت و به سلول انفرادی زندان اوین منتقل شده است. دکتر ابراهیم یزدی، دبیرکل ۸۱ ساله نهضت آزادی نیز پس از احضار و تهدید، برخلاف تصریحات قانون اساسی، در دادگاه انقلاب به صورت غیرعلنی و بدون حضور هیات منصفه، محاکمه شده است. برخی دیگر از همفکران ایشان نیز احضار و تهدید شده اند؛ از جمله دکتر غفار فرزدی، استاد دانشگاه تبریز که مورد ضرب و شتم نیز قرار گرفته است.

همچنین، جمعی از اعضای شورای فعالان ملی-مذهبی، جبهه مشارکت ایران اسلامی، و دیگر تشکل‌ها و فعالان سیاسی اصلاح طلب و معترض به طرق مختلف در رابطه با نامه به آقای خاتمی و مطالبه‌ی انتخابات آزاد، سالم و عادلانه در ایران مورد تهدید و فشار غیرقانونی نهادهای قضایی و امنیتی قرار گرفته‌اند.

در موردی مشابه، جمعی از اعضای جبهه ملی ایران در پی انتشار بیانیه انتقادی در مورد وضع اقتصادی ایران، احضار و مورد تهدید قرار گرفته و از فعالیت سیاسی تشکیلاتی منع شده‌اند. دکتر علی رشیدی، استاد دانشگاه در همین رابطه بازداشت شده است.

هم‌زمان در روزهای گذشته، آریا آرام‌نژاد، آهنگساز و خواننده‌ی حامی جنبش سبز مردم ایران، با هجوم نیروهای امنیتی بار دیگر در منزل مسکونی‌اش بازداشت شده است.

نقض حقوق بشر در ایران تنها متوجه فعالان سیاسی، کنشگران صنفی، روزنامه‌نگاران، نویسندگان و هنرمندان (به‌ویژه اهالی سینما) نبوده بلکه شامل شهروندان معمولی نیز شده است. چنانکه متاسفانه در رویدادی دیگر، نهادهای حکومتی از برگزاری آیین عید قربان توسط اهل سنت در پایتخت و برخی شهرهای بزرگ کشور (مانند اصفهان) جلوگیری کرده و بر نقض حقوق قانونی و شرعی آنان اصرار ورزیده‌اند.

رفتار غیرقانونی با شهروندان عادی، برخورد خشونت‌آمیز با معترضان و منتقدان وضع موجود در ایران و تهدید و منع آنان از فعالیت سیاسی، سرکوب فزاینده‌ای را متوجه جامعه مدنی کرده، و حقوق اساسی کنشگران سیاسی و مدنی، اقلیتهای مذهبی و حتی شهروندان عادی را برخلاف موازین جهانی حقوق بشر، اصول قانون اساسی و دیگر قوانین جمهوری اسلامی نادیده گرفته و نقض نموده است.

این شورا از جنابعالی انتظار دارد به عنوان گزارشگر ویژه سازمان ملل متحد در مورد وضع حقوق بشر در ایران، نسبت به پیگیری جدی جدیدترین موارد نقض حقوق بشر در جمهوری اسلامی، توجهات لازم را مبذول فرمایید.

Mr. Ahmed Shaheed United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran,

Greetings,

The systematic violation of the basic human rights of Iranian citizens, and in particular the rights of political activists, continues in Iran. The latest such incident took place after 143 political and civil activists wrote an open letter to the former president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Mohammad Khatami.  A number of the aforementioned signatories were summoned by security and intelligence entities within the Islamic Republic and subjected to a violent and threatening interrogation process.  The individuals summoned were told to retract their signatures, to reject the content of the letter and to refrain from engaging in any form of political activity.  This demand was made despite the fact that the signatories had merely requested that free and fair elections be held in Iran and had described the current conditions in the country as not conducive to the achievement of such a goal.

73 year old Mohammad Tavasoli, head of the political office of The Freedom Movement of Iran and the first mayor of Tehran after the victory of the 1978 Islamic Revolution, is one of the signatories of the aforementioned letter. Mr. Tavasoli was illegally arrested on November 9th, 2011 and transferred to solitary confinement at Evin prison.  It is worth mentioning that Mr. Tavasoli has been arrested several times in recent years.  Dr. Ebrahim Yazdi, 81 year old Secretary General of The Freedom Movement of Iran was also summoned, threatened and tried in a court without a jury, in violation of the principles stipulated in Iran’s Constitution.

Furthermore, members of the National Religious Coalition of Iran, the Islamic Iran Participation Front and other reformist political entities and critics of the ruling establishment have been threatened and illegally pressured by judicial and security forces as a result of the open letter addressed to Mr. Khatami requesting free and fair elections in Iran.

In a similar incident, some of the members of The National Front of Iran were summoned, threatened and banned from all organized political activities following the publication of a statement criticizing the economic conditions in Iran.  Dr. Ali Rashidi, a university professor was arrested subsequent to the publication of this critical statement.  Moreover, singer and songwriter Arya Aramnejad, an avid supporter of the people’s Green Movement of Iran was also arrested a few days ago after his house was raided by security forces.

Human rights violations in Iran are not just committed against political and civil activists, journalists, writers and artists (particularly local actors), but also committed against ordinary citizens. Iranians of Sunni faith, in major cities across Iran [such as Esfahan] for example,  have been denied their legal and religious rights and have been prevented from celebrating Eide Ghorban [the Festival of Sacrifice], an important religious Sunni tradition.

The illegal treatment of ordinary citizens, the violent confrontation of opponents of the ruling establishment and the critics of the current conditions in Iran, coupled with the banning of citizens from political activities, has led to the extreme repression of the Iranian society. As a result we have witnessed the systematic violation of international human rights norms and principles and the violation of the constitution and the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran when it comes to political and civil activists, religious minorities and even ordinary citizens in Iran.

In your capacity as United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran, the Coordination Council for the Green Path of Hope, therefore requests your immediate pursuit of, and special attention to, the latest incidents of human rights violations committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
